Squeezu Huugray
It's pronounced "Squeh-zoo Hoo-gray"...I'll get to that in a minute...
Mr. Huugray here was conceived almost on a whim. It was the end of the summer and I was very upset about leaving my life-sized Neimoidian behind, having grown quite attached to him. To make it easier to go back, the night before leaving, I drew up quick designs and went and bought materials so that I could make a "hug-sized" Neimoidian when I got back to the UK, before term began. I made him in about three days, and he is an absolute joy to hug!
He stands around 3ft tall, and is made of the same green faux suede that the life-size one is made of, while the eyes are red velvet spheres, with black Sharpie pupils. He's got a full body under his robes, with legs and everything. I tried my hand at hemming this time, and gave his robes and shawl a golden thread lining, and I have to say, I love the result.
I love this size of plush so much, I'm very tempted to make a Lott Dod, Nute Gunray, and Rune Haako in this size as well.
...okay, I've been putting this off for too long. The name...One of my Star Wars friends suggested the name as a joke, saying that it pretty much described his purpose in life. I wasn't going to have it...but after a few days, it stuck, and I couldn't call him anything else. Thank you, Stephen.
